QUESTIONS?

  • Does my child need to be potty trained?
We do require all children that attend our sessions to be capable of alerting instructors that they are in need of using the restroom. Diaper or pull-up changes are not accommodated.
  • What ages are permitted at The Tot Space?
Our Stay & Play reservations include both parents and children, these sessions allow for children 2-7 years old. Our drop off activity sessions allow for ages 3-7 years old.
  • Does The Tot Space provide any nap time?
Our program offers a rotating schedule of activities from open to close, with no nap option throughout the day.
  • Can I drop in without a reservation?
At this time, we do require reservations. However, if you arrive and doors are open, feel free to come in and check on availability!
  • Can I extend Stay & Play time another hour or more if my child wants to stay?
Absolutely! Who are we to stand in the way of a Tot and their play time? 😄
  • How often can my child attend The Tot Space?
Feel free to reserve as often as you'd like!
  • How long is each drop-off activity session?
Each session is 60 minutes long, to include a 30 minute activity and 30 minutes of imaginative play. Snack hours will be broken up into 25 minutes of activity, 20 minutes of imaginative play and 15 minutes of snack time for children who have packed snacks.
  • Can I book consecutive activity sessions?
    Yes!
  • Do I need to provide anything for my child's drop-off reservation?
Nothing is required! However, we encourage a change of clothes and a personal water bottle. Note that if no change of clothes is provided, and there happens to be an unforeseen mess of any kind, per your approval - we are able to provide your Tot with a Tot Space tee while you're away (for an additional fee).
  • Can I cancel my booking less than 24 hours prior to my reservation time?
In the event that you need to cancel a reservation on the same day, we are happy to cancel it for you with the understanding that there will be a cancellation fee that totals the cost of your booking.
  • What is the Tot Space?
The Tot Space is an activity studio that offers a rotating schedule of both open play and recreational activities for children ages 2-7 years old. Our studio provides a space for children to interact, develop, and have a social club to call their own. We provide an option for Stay & Play - allowing parents to stay, interact, and imagine with their children during our open play hours. We also provide options for drop off during our activity sessions. These sessions can be utilized for parents to have me-time, guilt- free while their tots enjoy a stay full of enrichment in our warm and nurturing space. (Note parents also have the option to stay in our front area during activity sessions).
  • Are your instructors screened in any capacity?
Absolutely! All of our instructors have completed a medical screening, been background screened, are required to remain certified in first aid/cpr training, and have extensive trainings and certifications in early childhood.
  • Can I check in on my child while they are in session?
100% YES! Feel free to send us an email or text to check in on how your child is enjoying the atmosphere, what kind of interactions they are having, and even request a photo!
  • Are snacks offered during sessions?
We do provide snack hours at 4pm during our activity sessions. During these hours, our session allows 15 minutes for snack time for children who have packed a snack for time at the studio. Children with snacks will be transitioned into the snack space at this time.
  • Can I stay while my child participates in drop off activities?
Sure! If you'd like to remain in the space, we absolutely do not ban it! Our play space is a Tot-only zone during activity sessions, however we do allow parents to remain in our reception area during their reservations - which gives full visibility to our front area play space. (Perfect timing for catching up on some extra work, reading a book, or just taking a break to sit down!)
